HitecVision sells pipeline company CapeOmega for €1.2 billion

HitecVision has announced the sale of its Norwegian oil and gas and midstream infrastructure company CapeOmega for approximately €1.2 billion.

The sale was made to Partners Group, a global private markets investment manager.

CapeOmega, which was established in 2015, holds stakes in key midstream infrastructure in Norway.

These include offshore gas transmission system Gassled; Nyhamna, which is one of three gas processing plants in Norway; and a 480km pipeline connecting the Aasta Hansteen field to Nyhamna.

The company also holds stakes in three oilfields: Brynhild, Enoch and Oselvar, according to HitecVision.
