Global Research on Bio-Inspired Solutions for Climate Resilience includes Water Filtration

Manufactured Ecosystems, led by Dr Jacobs from the University of Guelph in Canada and collaborating with international academic partners, has launched a new initiative focused on compiling research on biomimetic technologies.
These technologies, inspired by natural ecosystem services, aim to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Collected research examples include bio-inspired water filtration systems to combat water scarcity and developing robotic bees to assist in plant pollination, among others.
By making this research accessible, Manufactured Ecosystems aims to support future climate adaptation efforts.
