German cavity pump firm acquired by Ingersoll Rand

Ingersoll Rand has completed its acquisition of the progressive cavity pump company Seepex GmbH.
Seepex, which is based in Bottrop, Germany, manufactures progressive cavity pumps for chemical applications as well as for the water, wastewater, food and the beverage industry.
The company has facilities in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, employs around 800 employees and has annual revenue of approximately €160 million.
Seepex is now part of Ingersoll Rand’s Precision and Science Technologies segment.
