Flowserve launches sealless pump with true secondary containment
Flowserve has unveiled the INNOMAG® TB-MAG Dual Drive, a magnetic-drive, sealless pump designed to eliminate leaks and enhance safety standards for handling hazardous fluids in the process and energy industries.
The modular design allows operators to upgrade existing single-containment INNOMAG pumps or purchase a complete Dual Drive unit, offering simpler installation, reduced maintenance, and compliance with ISO and ASME standards.
Flowserve stated that the new TB-MAG Dual Drive addresses the traditional limitations of sealless designs — notably wear and leakage in dual-control systems — by ensuring the motor remains liquid-free even if the liquid chamber is compromised, and by incorporating a corrosion-resistant, non-metallic liner for aggressive services.
The release positions the pump as an alternative to canned motor pumps, providing safer handling of toxic chemicals and aggressive fluids commonly encountered in the oil and gas and chemical processing industries.
