Developing a water services strategy for UK enterprise zone

Albion Water has been commissioned to develop a water services strategy for Samlesbury Aerospace Enterprise Zone in the UK.
The manufacturing and commercial growth area plans to complement existing advanced engineering and aeronautics in the region.
Albion Water will be advising and facilitating the delivery of drinking water supplies and the provision of local wastewater collection, treatment and discharge facilities.
Working with Cundall consulting engineers and 4ward-ltd project managers, the opportunity to recycle treated effluent as well as incorporate other elements of Integrated Water Management is being assessed as is maximising the opportunities to promote biodiversity.
Samlesbury Aerospace Enterprise Zone is partly funded by the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership (LEP) which has successfully secured £320 million (€351 million) of Growth Deal investment from the Government's Local Growth Fund.
The Growth Deal programme will help to generate up to 11,000 new jobs, create 3,900 new homes and attract  additional public and private investment for Lancashire.
