Crawford launches smart water detection solution

Insurance claims management provider Crawford & Company has released the industry’s first smart water detection solution to manage escape of water claims, the company announced.

The Escape of Water solution uses sensors to provide 24/7 monitoring and leak detection. If a water leak is detected, the sensors alert Crawford’s operations centre through wireless communication.

“In early 2018, we launched an Escape of Water solution in the UK. With the addition of smart water sensor technology, we are taking our solution to the next level as a disruptive response to help address escape of water claims,” said Rohit Verma, global COO at Crawford.
