Badger releases corrosion resistant PVDF flowmeter

Badger Meter has released new oval gear flowmeters, manufactured from PVDF plastic.

The new PVDF meterz can be used in a number of applications where conventional meters are not appropriate.

They are best suited for flow measurement of viscous or high corrosive fluids, additives, AdBlue, ultrapure water and oils, but also for a wide range of chemical applications, including hydrocarbons-based liquids and water solutions.

Badget Meter says the models in PVDF are more economical as other types of meters for this kind of applications.

The meters cover a flow range of 0.25 to 120 l/min and operate within a temperature range of -30° to +60°C.

At a pressure rate of 16 bar, they show an accuracy of 1,5%.

The PVDF models are available in the sizes of ¼", ¾", 1" and 1" high flow.
