Axflow expands presence in Swiss market through W. Moser acquisition

AxFlow, specialist in industrial pumps and fluid handling systems, has extended its product portfolio and market coverage in Switzerland with the acquisition of W. Moser.

With 570 employees and sales of €175 million, AxFlow is today one of the largest distributors of industrial fluid handling equipment in Europe and in South Africa.

The company established operations in Switzerland in 2001 and with the addition of W. Moser significantly extends its market presence.

W. Moser has for more than 30 years been representing international manufacturers of industrial pumps and cooling towers in Switzerland.

Headquartered in Winterthur, the Swiss firm provides products, spare parts, and accessories to customers throughout the country from its warehouse and central repair shop.

In recent years, on-site repair and maintenance services have also become increasingly important.

”W. Moser is a solid, well-respected provider of industrial fluid handling equipment, cooling systems, and related services to the pharmaceutical, chemical, and general industry in Switzerland. The company is a strategically important addition to our business and one that fits very well into the overall growth ambitions of AxFlow in Europe,” said Ole Weiner, CEO at AxFlow.

Michael Hartmann, Managing Director and former owner of W. Moser, expects many benefits from the cooperation going forward.
