Almatec adds to C-Series range of AODD pumps
PSG and Dover Group company Almatec, a manufacturer of specialty pumps, has extended its line of solid plastic C-Series air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps.
The new additions include C 40 and C 50 models, which are engineered to be a more cost-effective alternative to similar plastic pumps.
The pumps feature an industry-leading design that increases bolt torque to improve pump safety. The addition of Almatec’s Perswing P air control system helps optimise production rates and lower energy costs.
C-Series pumps are suited for the most difficult pumping applications, ensuring the suction and discharge ports are available as separate housing parts with different footprints. This allows the pumps to be quickly and easily matched to existing installations.
The pumps do not have any mechanical seals, drives or rotating parts that can cause wear over time, which improves reliability and extends product life. They also feature self-priming and dry run capabilities, which are critical for most pumping applications.
