AFT launches new fluid dynamic simulation tool

Colorado Springs based Applied Flow Technology (AFT) has announced the release of AFT Arrow 7, a new addition to its growing range of simulation tools.

AFT Arrow is a fluid dynamic simulation tool used to calculate pressure drop and flow distribution in gas piping and ducting systems. It can, according to AFT, be used for modelling, simulation and analysis.

Founded in 1993, AFT focuses on developing fluid flow analysis software. The company has channel partners across the globe and customers in more than 70 countries.

AFT Arrow 7 new features include the ability to import piping layouts from CAESAR II Neutral files, enhanced Excel integration including the new Excel Export Manager, the option to utilize a 2D or isometric interface, and updated relief valve specification with opening and closing profiles.
