Grindex introduces compact Primo pumps for harsh dewatering applications

Grindex has introduced the Primo line of single-phase pumps to meet the increasing market demand for small, affordable pumps.

The Primo pumps consist of two drainage and two sludge models well-suited for construction, industrial, and municipal applications.

The pumps’ compact design allows them to operate in dewatering applications in tight spaces where larger pumps would not fit.

Designed to work with media containing chemicals or in otherwise contaminated environments, the pumps will inevitably need decontaminating, sanitising, and repair.

However, Grindex says that due to the pumps’ lower price, it may be advantageous for operators to fit new pumps in and dispose of the decommissioned pumps in an environmentally responsible way instead of engaging in the costly decontamination process.
