New South East England-based water pipeline nears completion

A new water pipeline to secure water supplies in Bracknell, Berkshire, England, will be in operation next month as part of a £450,000 (€306,000) investment project in the area.

South East Water will be completing the final piece of work on its project to lay a new 1.4 kilometre pipeline along Opladen Way and Harmans Water Road.

Matthew Cooper, project manager at South East Water, said: “This important scheme will secure water supplies for current and future customers as the community grows.

“This is our final section of work and once we have completed this on Friday 6 October, we will start clearing the area of our equipment.”

The scheme forms part of the company’s £424 million investment programme taking place between 2015 and 2020.
