WEFTEC 2017 Preview: Flowrox
Ahead of WEFTEC 2017 (30 September – 4 October at McCormick Place in Chicago), Fluid Handling International presents an introduction to Flowrox, who’ll be exhibiting at Booth #1951
Who is Flowrox?
Headquartered in Finland but with offices and representatives in 55 countries across the globe, Flowrox provides solutions for abrasive, corrosive and other demanding shut-off, control, pumping and dosing applications, serving a wide range of industries.
The company has more than 40 years’ experience in elastomer technology for the construction of heavy duty pumps and valves, as well as offering new smart flow solutions.
Flowrox at WEFTEC 2017
Flowrox will present its Packaged Pumping Systems with Smart Solutions for remote monitoring. The Packaged Pump System with the Flowrox rolling eccentric peristaltic pumps can be found in various applications, such as hypochlorite, alum, ferric chloride, anti-scalants and polymers.
Flowrox Smart Solutions are a unique way to combine flow control products and Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT). They increase productivity through optimisation and online predictability. The assets are connected to a secure smart cube allowing the consistent monitoring of equipment and systems to maximise production uptime and reduce unplanned downtime by collecting and analysing the data.
The company will also showcase its range of Pinch Valves, Knifegate Valves and Duckbill Check Valves. Flowrox Pinch Valves are the perfect solution when it comes to abrasive water and wastewater treatment plant applications. The Pinch Valves range from sizes 1”-40”, up to 1500psi and can be equipped with manual or electric actuators with a variety of sleeve materials for chemical and abrasive compatibility. As the valve operates, the sleeve is the only part of the valve that comes in contact with the medium, eliminating the need for valve seats and packing.
A single cast constructed knifegate valve with a two piece resilient seat design, the Flowrox SKW incorporates a robust yoke system. As the two piece seat is the only part of the valve that comes in contact with the medium, Flowrox knifegate valves will not endure seating issues and packing leaks.
LarFlex Check Valves, another product Flowrox will be exhibiting, are an engineered all rubber check valve used inline or on the end of the pipe. Larflex Check Valves can be found in a wide range of municipal and industrial applications, ranging from CSO, SSO, outfall, and odour control to storm water and wastewater applications.
On 30 September the water industry will head to Chicago, Illinois’ McCormick Place for WEFTEC 2017.
The US’ Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) has grown into a world leading event for developments in water quality, research, solutions, knowledge development and cutting edge technologies. With thousands of water and wastewater professionals attending from around the world, WEFTEC 2017 will host a programme of technical sessions and workshops alongside an exhibition of some of the biggest companies involved in water and wastewater.
