Westinghouse and Celeros FT sign MoU for valves and pumps
Celeros Flow Technology (Celeros FT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Westinghouse Electric Company in Canada and globally.
The agreement offers Celeros FT the potential to design and fabricate valves and pumps for key Westinghouse AP1000® and AP300™ projects.
Dan Lipman, president of Westinghouse Energy Systems, said: “Celeros FT’s engineered-to-order products and solutions will help us expand our AP1000® technology and introduce new AP300™ projects in Canada and around the world, enhancing Canada’s global reputation as a leader in clean energy innovation.”
John Gorman, president of Westinghouse Canada, added: “By expanding our Canadian nuclear supply chain with experienced partners like Celeros FT, we are positioning Westinghouse to deliver North America’s next AP1000 plant quickly while bringing real economic benefits and high-quality jobs to Canada.”
