Valmet strengthens partnership with Petrobras to boost valve services across Brazil

Valmet announced a strategic agreement with Petrobras, Brazil’s largest energy company, to provide comprehensive valve services across all its operational units.
The collaboration focuses on delivering spare parts for Neles™ valves, actuators, and positioners, supporting Petrobras’s activities in oil and gas exploration, production, refining, commercialisation and power generation.
The agreement, initially set for one year with the possibility of automatic renewal for up to five years, is designed to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
By ensuring a steady supply of critical valve components, Petrobras benefits from guaranteed equipment availability, improved cost predictability, streamlined procurement processes, reduced administrative hurdles and access to specialised technical support.
