Tsurumi showcases high performance cutting pumps
Tsurumi has drawn strong reaction with the launch of its new CZ series sewage pumps, engineered specifically for handling heavy duty, solids laden wastewater. While the stand’s Japanese themed presentation turned heads, the real focus was on the pump’s technical capabilities.

The CZ series is built for applications where high solids and fibrous material routinely threaten system uptime.

At its core is an exceptionally robust cutting mechanism combining a specially contoured suction plate with a powerful scissor style cutter.

This configuration shreds challenging materials — including textiles and wet wipes — before they reach the hydraulic components, ensuring continuous, clog free operation even in difficult conditions.

Designed for municipal networks, commercial facilities and sewage treatment plants, the pumps prioritise operational reliability and reduced maintenance.

Tsurumi positions the series as a solution for operators seeking long service life and stable performance in environments where pump blockages can cause costly downtime.

Alongside the CZ launch, Tsurumi also highlighted its FSP pumps for removing floating debris, its wider wastewater portfolio, and its virtually maintenance free TRN submersible aerators. The company’s open architecture Tsurumi Connect monitoring platform also featured prominently.

By combining rugged pump engineering with digital connectivity, Tsurumi reinforced its reputation for practical, operator focused solutions — delivered with a distinctive Japanese flair.
