Superlas acquired by Trelleborg group

Trelleborg, a global engineering group focusing on polymer technology, has finalised the acquisition of the privately owned Superlas Group.

The company develops and manufactures medium/low pressure industrial hoses for a range of industries, including construction and civil engineering, processing, industrial cleaning and tanker transportation.

Superlas has manufacturing facilities in Turkey and sales offices in Austria and the UK. The company had revenues of around €42.9 million in 2013.

The transaction was consolidated as of 1 July 2014. Financial details were not disclosed.
