Solenis accelerates product development with new facility

The 100,000-square-foot facility features advanced laboratories, collaborative workspaces and pilot-scale testing capabilities to accelerate product development and customer support for sustainability-focused products and technologies.
It will serve as the flagship hub in Solenis’ global R&D network of more than 500 scientists, engineers, and technical experts, including over 160 in Wilmington focused on water treatment and pulp and paper manufacturing.
The new centre adds 20,000 more square feet of laboratory space than Solenis’ previous R&D location in Wilmington.
Designed for collaboration and innovation, the flexible laboratories encourage cross-functional teamwork, while open environments foster cooperation
“We’re proud to open the doors to our new Global Research Centre,” said Christoph Adami, vice-president, innovation.
“This investment reflects our dedication to scientific excellence, our growth within the Delaware community, and our belief that innovation is the key to solving our customers’ most complex sustainability challenges.”
“This new global centre deepens our technical capabilities and strengthens our ability to attract top talent and deliver differentiated solutions to the market,” said John Panichella, chief executive officer.
“It’s a major milestone in our journey to become a force for sustainable change.”
