Pipe transit provider Roxtec acquires Romanian distributor
A leading cable and pipe transit provider has announced the acquisition of its distributor in Romania. Roxtec Romania will become the 28th subsidiary in the Roxtec Group.
“The team in Romania has been working closely together with colleagues in Sweden and the other Roxtec countries since 2010,” said Mikael Helmerson, CEO of Roxtec. “Together, we have grown the market for Roxtec solutions and developed a stable business with great potential.”
To date, Roxtec Romania has had success with cable and pipe transits for the marine market segment.
Helmerson added that he sees potential growth within land-based industries in the Romanian market. The Roxtec Group is rapidly growing within the energy sector, as well as within infrastructure and a number of manufacturing industries.
“We look forward to expanding the Romanian market further and exploring more cross-border projects and sales opportunities linked to Romania,” added Helmerson. “We are happy that the managing director of Roxtec Romania, Claudiu Mardare, will continue to lead the team going forward.”
