Petrofac nets three-year contract from INEOS for Forties Pipeline

Petrofac has announced that is Engineering & Production Services (EPS) business has won a three-year operations and maintenance support services contract from INEOS for the Forties Pipeline System (INEOS FPS).

Petrofac will provide staff to the Unit Platform, located in the central North Sea, the onshore Cruden Bay Terminal, as well as other landline sites. The contract builds on the existing relationship between the two companies in the UK Continental Shelf, where Petrofac currently provides maintenance consultancy services.

Under the new contact, Petrofac will deploy support personnel to INEOS FPS via its 24/7 Delivery Hub, through which all labour supply contracts are managed.

“INEOS is making significant investments into its Forties Pipeline System and we look forward to drawing on the depth of our expertise to support them,” said Nick Shorten, managing director for Petrofac’s engineering and production services in the Western Hemisphere.

“This award builds on our existing track record for the provision of experienced, competent and operations-ready personnel in support of both onshore and offshore activities. Our teams will focus on a safe and efficient delivery as we support INEOS FPS to increase uptime, improve asset performance and optimise operating expenditure.”
