A new grinder from Borger has enabled a paper mill to improve its throughput after years of problems with clogging issues.
The mill’s existing grinder struggled with solids, resulting in downtime and an all too frequent need for new parts.
Now, with the new Borger Multicrusher, the paper mill has made significant cost savings; also reducing scheduled servicing costs, thanks to the grinder’s Maintenance-In-Place design. No special tools are required, with access to moving parts made easy via the Multicrusher’s simple back-pull-out.
In addition to solving issues at paper mills, the Multicrusher’s flexibility of sizes, blade configurations and optimum-rated speeds, makes it suitable for almost any industry application.
Available as a stand-alone machine, or for connection to a pump, submersible or mobile unit, the Borger Multicrusher can also be installed vertically to save space in confined areas.
