Norwegian activity powers strongest quarter in decade for Pipetech

Denholm Pipetech, the flow remediation solution specialist, has experienced its best quarter for over a decade following a summer of extensive activity within the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
Recent activity spanned Q2 and Q3, with Pipetech providing technology and over 20 personnel to assist with the cleaning of produced water systems, alongside various caissons during planned shutdown events on five different platforms in Norway.
Supporting two separate clients, of these five platforms, three were in collaboration with a major Norwegian operator, while the remaining two were for a US-based E&P operator.
Pipetech’s intervention helped each client successfully complete large-scale planned shutdown maintenance work, ensuring efficient production operations. For the work, Pipetech supplied its industry-recognised Aqua Milling® technology to target scale within the systems, before confirming results with camera inspections.
Tomas Bernhardsson, operations manager Scandinavia, commented: "These projects perfectly encapsulate our presence in the North Sea, demonstrating the collaborative ability of our teams in the UK and in Norway.
“Mobilising 20 personnel across five different platforms presents logistical challenges, but not only did we manage that process efficiently, but we also ensured that each crew maintained the highest standards of cleaning.
“Our Aqua Milling® technology once again proved to be the difference, adding another successful project to its impressive track record. Following similar success in the UK and our integration into Denholm, Pipetech is in a fantastic position heading into Q4 and 2026.”
