NETZSCH Pumps & Systems has announced the launch of its latest progressing cavity pump technology, engineered to enhance reliability and reduce maintenance demands across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas operations.
Building on its established NEMO® and NOTOS® product lines, the new system is designed to handle complex multiphase fluids, including mixtures of oil, gas, water, and solids, with improved stability and reduced pulsation.
The pump incorporates a compact drive head that eliminates the need for a concrete base, making installation faster and more cost effective for remote well sites. Its insertable design allows operators to perform maintenance without removing the entire assembly, significantly reducing downtime.
For midstream applications, the pump delivers smooth, accurate flow essential for custody transfer systems, while downstream operators benefit from its ability to manage high viscosity and shear sensitive media.
NETZSCH emphasises that the system can be supplied in full compliance with API 676 standards, ensuring compatibility with global oil and gas requirements.
