Andreas Denker has become a further managing director of NETZSCH Pumps & Systems. After a transition phase with the current CEO Felix Kleinert, Denker will take over the management of the global Pumps & Systems business unit in mid-May.
At the same time, he will become a member of the global management team (GMT) of the NETZSCH Group.
The P&S business unit is the strongest business unit in terms of sales and earnings of the globally operating family-owned company. Kleinert, who has led the business unit as CEO since 1999, will retire on June 30 after 24 years with the company.
In his new role, Denker will further develop the strategy of the Pumps & Systems business unit.
The focus here is on ensuring success through the targeted expansion of the global production and sales network, the expansion of the product portfolio and the development of new digital solutions in the field of complex fluid management.
"With Andreas Denker, we are gaining an outstanding leader and technically accomplished CEO. His competencies, international experience and personality are an ideal fit for NETZSCH and perfectly complement the global management team. He is the ideal successor to Felix Kleinert, under whose leadership the further strategic direction of the business unit has yet to be determined,” said Moritz Netzsch, member of executive board, NETZSCH Group.
"The conditions for further growth are ideal. The strategic positioning of the Pumps & Systems business unit as a holistic solution provider for the management of complex fluids has taken place and we are already perceived as such in the market."
