NETZSCH expands Tornado rotary-lobe pump line with new T1 XXLB-F

NETZSCH Pumps & Systems has rolled out the new TORNADO® T1 XXLB-F, a high-capacity rotary-lobe pump designed for demanding industrial and municipal applications — particularly where viscous, solids-laden or otherwise challenging media need reliable, gentle handling.
Thanks to its optimised delivery geometry, robust gearbox and cast-on flanges, the new T1 XXLB-F delivers high flow rates — up to 1,400 m³/h — while maintaining a pressure-stable characteristic curve, ensuring consistent output even as system pressure fluctuates.
The pump is self-priming and valveless, enabling easy start-up even with empty lines. It handles viscous, abrasive or solids-laden fluids — such as sludge, wastewater, thick chemicals or food-industry by-products — with low shear and minimal turbulence, protecting product integrity and reducing wear.
With easy maintenance (wear parts can be replaced without removing the pump from the pipeline) and robust build quality, the new TORNADO XXLB-F is tailored for sectors like wastewater treatment, chemical processing, food production, mining, and oil & gas — wherever high-capacity, heavy-duty fluid handling is needed.
