NDT Global has announced the strategic addition of Entegra®, bolstering its ultrasonic and non-destructive testing capabilities for in-line pipeline inspection.
The acquisition/partnership, announced in NDT Global’s news, brings advanced pulse-echo, phased-array, and high-resolution ultrasonic technologies into NDT Global’s portfolio, enabling more accurate detection of axial and circumferential defects, corrosion, and crack-like indications in oil and gas and petrochemical transmission lines.
According to the company, the integration accelerates the delivery of full-bore ultrasonic data sets that improve remaining-life assessments and integrity management decisions, especially on ageing steel pipelines where magnetic methods have limitations.
NDT Global emphasises that the combined offering will support operators’ regulatory compliance and reduce unnecessary digs through more reliable anomaly classification and sizing.
