National Pump Company unveils new H28 pump range

With pump bowls and impellers already in stock and ready for assembly, the new units are designed to meet the needs of customers across industrial, municipal and petroleum markets.
The heavy-duty H28 models are built to deliver a formidable 10,500 gallons per minute, powered by a 500-horsepower motor.
As with all National Pump Company products, the H28MC and H28LC are designed, engineered, manufactured and performance-tested at the firm’s NSF 61 and ISO 9001-certified facility in Glendale, Arizona, ensuring top-tier quality and reliability.
The launch fills a key gap in the company’s range between the H24 and H30 pumps.
Developed using advanced CFD flow simulation to maximise efficiency and FEA analysis to achieve an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, the H28 series offers a balanced blend of performance and durability.
The H28MC hits its best efficiency point at 1,180 rpm, delivering 14,750 gallons per minute at 143 feet per stage with 87% efficiency.
The H28LC posts 13,250 gallons per minute at 131 feet per stage, also at 87% efficiency. Both models feature a specific speed range of 3,600 to 3,800, a maximum power rating of 2,000 horsepower and a maximum head of 1,500 feet and can be configured with up to seven stages.
All H28 models are available in standard construction materials and can be customised at any of National Pump’s manufacturing sites to meet precise project requirements.
