Fluidwell introduces new general purpose monitor

Dutch company Fluidwell has launched a new ‘general purpose indicator’ with a focus on level, temperature and pressure applications.

According to a company statement, the new F190 can be used in a variety of applications. It is certified according to ATEX and IECEx by DEKRA for use in intrinsically safe applications with an ambient temperature of -40°C to +70°C.

The company describes it as having extensive mounting possibilities, including walls, pipes, panels or directly onto outdoor sensors. The F190 also boasts the possibility to create a custom measuring unit with max. 8 characters. The device’s interface is built around alphanumerical descriptions in a bid to ‘enhance the understanding of the system and its settings.’

Fluidwell’s F190 accepts (0)4-20mA input signals from any type of analogue measurement device, and offers a facility to set two low and two high alarm values. The F190 combines the functionality of the F090, F143, F153 and F170. The company also claims the F190 withstands extreme weather conditions such as rain, snow, sun, sandy deserts, salty atmospheres.
