Flowrox metering pumps offer IIoT capability in chemical applications
Pumps and valves manufacturer Flowrox has revealed a new metering pump for the chemical industry, the Flowrox FXM metering pump.
The new product allows operators to monitor the pump 24/7 using any computer or mobile device. This enables the plant manager to realise minor problems before they reach critical levels or cause serious downtime or damage.
The Flowrox FXM metering pump is useful in the harsh conditions of various chemical processes, particularly for applications that require accurate metering. The pump has just one wear-resistant part in contact with corrosive or abrasive mediums, as well as low consumption of spare parts. This helps to reduce maintenance and downtime, improve process performance and provide accurate dosing.
All pumps are now Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) ready; users have the option to use the Flowrox Malibu portal to remotely manage, measure and analyse processes from any device with an Internet connection. Flowrox Malibu is a combined online process monitoring, maintenance and analysis tool, which helps to predict failures before they occur, increase productivity and improve safety in chemical dosing processes.
