Flagship pipeline technology provider helps improve standards

Since late 2023, the company has been delivering flagship technology solutions for pipeline leak detection and monitoring, proactively detecting pipeline anomalies, leaks, obstructions and stuck pigs across systems throughout the United States.
The Houston-based company has raised the calibre of pipeline maintenance support for Fortune 500 and blue-chip organisations within the oil and gas and utilities sectors.
This year has seen the completion of several new applications, including addressing common midstream challenges such as hydrate plugs and farm taps. These projects have helped PipeSense further demonstrate how its pressure-testing solution, PipeTest, obstruction location solution, PipeScan, and leak detection technology, PipeGuard, can benefit operators.
Stuart Mitchell, PipeSense President and CTO, commented: “It’s great to celebrate our second anniversary alongside the wider Charps team and our clients and supporters.
“It’s important to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished so far. While we are proud of everything we have achieved to date, we recognise that there is no time to slow down.
“PipeSense was established to eliminate false positives and raise standards for pipeline maintenance and integrity. We’ve made a promising start, particularly in the US, but we’re an ambitious company, and we know the work is only just beginning. Thankfully, we believe we have the technology and the people to realise our goals.”
