Finish Thompson highlights new UCP series magnetic drive centrifugal pump

news item image
Finish Thompson Inc. (FTI) will introduce its new UCP Series ANSI-dimensional magnetic drive centrifugal pump.
The UCP serves as a drop-in replacement for any manufacturers’ ANSI-dimensional pump, significantly reducing users’ cost of ownership.
The new UCP Series is ideal for a variety of surface finishing applications, including plating, anodising, etching, and pickling.
It features a ductile iron exterior with corrosion resistant non-metallic interior components to handle a wide variety of surface finishing chemicals.
Powerful neodymium magnets drive the impeller through a glass-filled polypropylene barrier for dependable, leak-free operation with no environmental emissions, no power-robbing double mechanical seals, and no seal support systems.
The MF-7200 magnetic drive pump and chamber filter system is recommended for plating solutions, pharmaceuticals, and acid and alkaline solutions up to 180ºF.
With an all-plastic construction, the MF-7200 features the Penguin Series M or Series MTD Series magnetic drive pump, and a CPVC, PVDF, or polypropylene filter chamber. Offering high volume and high-pressure operation, the pump is corrosion-resistant, with maximum flow rate up to 220 gallons per minute.
Filter Pump’s Penguin Series P vertical pumps are designed for reliable handling of corrosive, slurry, and abrasive solutions.
Available in CPVC, polypropylene, or PVDF, the Series P pumps offer excellent chemical resistance and withstand temperatures up to 180°F, 150°F, and 280°F respectively. The sealless, bearing-free design ensures low maintenance and long-lasting performance, making them a dependable choice for demanding chemical processing applications.
