Armstrong Industrial — a division of Armstrong Fluid Technology, a global leader in intelligent fluid-flow and energy-efficient systems leveraging over 90 years of engineering expertise — showcased its advanced high-pressure wash and water-jetting solutions at the Waterjet Technology Association (WJTA) Conference and Expo in New Orleans.
This showcase highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to engineering efficiency, sustainability and intelligent system control. From IoT-enabled umbilical flushing units and energy-optimised high-pressure wash systems to a mobile ultra high-pressure (UHP) unit, Armstrong’s technology reflects how industrial cleaning and maintenance are evolving toward smarter, safer and lower-carbon operations.
“Our industrial high-pressure systems have been engineered for efficiency – so that customers can optimise their operations while reducing their energy consumption,” said Michael Cline, general manager of Armstrong Industrial.
“Leveraging 90 years of engineering experience, our solutions deliver advanced performance, proven reliability and measurable efficiency.”
The HP umbilical units boast water-jetting capabilities up to 2,500-16,000 PSI (170-1100bar PSI; in standard industrial applications, they deliver flows of 2.5-15.8 gallons (10-60 litres) per minute.
He highlighted the intelligent controls on these high pressure units, including IoT connectivity for performance tracking and smart monitoring capabilities for predictive maintenance – which can be integrated with facility management systems.
