Aalberts IPS highlights advanced Apollo® 215L butterfly valve line for flow control in oil and gas applications

news item image
Aalberts integrated piping systems (IPS) has showcased its Apollo® 215L butterfly valve product line, engineered to meet the evolving demands of oil and gas applications.
These valves are designed to provide exceptional flow control, durability, and ease of maintenance, ensuring optimal system performance and longevity.
The 215L butterfly valve product line excels in fuel and gas handling systems, serving applications such as pipeline isolation and flow control and refinery water and chemical processes.
It is distinguished by its double offset design, which provides improved sealing and reduced wear compared to concentric designs.
The valves incorporate RTFM (TFM 1700) seat material, offering greater wear resistance and a higher modulus for improved overall performance. Consistent sealing over time is ensured by disc spring washers with live loading technology, which also compensates for wear.
Reliable seat support is provided by a multi-bolt seat retainer, making the valves suitable for bi-directional dead-end service.
The 215L line is available in both wafer and lug body styles, offering flexibility for diverse installation requirements. With multiple pressure classes available (150, 300, and 600) and a size range from 2" to 36" (Class 150), these butterfly valves accommodate a wide range of application pressures and pipeline sizes.
