New Onixline pump from Börger handles high pressures

German pump manufacturer Börger has introduced the new Onixline pump range for high pressure applications.

Designed with flow-simulation software, the Onixline range can handle demanding high pressures up to 16 bar in applications including waste, chemical, oil, offshore, paper/pulp, and sugar.

Available with interchangeable cartridge seals to suit application-specific requirements and seal plans, Onixline benefits from rotors designed to promote maximum energy efficiency through gentle, almost pulsation-free pumping.

Equipped with precision bearings that restrict shaft movement, the new range features a robust carrier and timing gear to minimise the clearance between rotors and the pump casing.

In addition to the ONIXline’s computer designed rotor profile and the flow-optimised inlet/outlet, other features include a large-volume intermediate chamber that allows open or closed operation.
