Daurex releases innovative progressing cavity pump
Daurex, a German pump manufacturer, has introduced the Intelliflex, a high-efficiency pump based on valve-less positive displacement pump technology combined with the intelligence of computer software.
The pump features stainless steel housing for the motor and drive, with natural granite stone instead of cast iron.
The IntelliflEx lowers power consumption by up to 60% and minimises wear and tear using patented tapered geometry in the rotor/stator.
The configuration results in possibly up to more than double the lifetime for the rotor and stator compared to a standard progressing cavity pump under the same conditions.
The IntelliflEx has various modules (1.3m3/h up to 330m3/h) with sensor and flange options allowing for individual solutions.
