Phillips 66 has three projects in the pipeline

According to Kallanish Energy, Houston-based energy company Phillips 66 has announced an open season for three separate pipeline projects.  

Alongside pipeline developer-owner Bridger Pipeline, Phillips 66 has proposed The Liberty Pipeline. It is set to provide shippers crude transportation from the Rockies and Bakken production areas to Corpus Christi in Texas. It will also have an initial throughput capacity of 350,000 barrels per day (Bpd) and depending on shipper interest during the open season, an additional expansion may follow.

Kallanish Energy reports that The Liberty Pipeline is expected to be ready and placed in service by the end of 2020.

Also announced was an open season for the proposed Red Oak Pipeline that is intended to provide shippers with a secure crude oil transportation service from Cushing, Oklahoma, to Corpus Christi, Houston and Beaumont, Texas.

Similar to The Liberty Pipeline, The Red Oak Pipeline will be able to expand depending on shipper interest. However, it will have an initial capacity of 400,000 Bpd.  

Phillips 66 third pipeline project, Grey Oak Pipeline is a necessary expansion needed to solicit shipper commitments for West Texas pipelines services.
