AxFlow acquires French maintenance company RDC Productions

The company says that the purchase will complement their position in the food and beverage industry.

RDC focuses on servicing industrial equipment and maintenance for pumps, valves, heat exchangers and homogenisers, as well as testing of other fluid handling equipment and systems. The company employs 43 people and is based in west Paris.

Founder of the French company, Raymond Chevallier, said in a statement that this is a good opportunity for it to develop and achieve “sustainable and profitable growth.” Guillaume Chanay, Managing Director, AxFlow France commented in that RDC is expected to benefit from the added exposure facilitated by AxFlow sales staff.

According to a press release, by acquiring RDC, AxFlow hopes to grow and differentiate itself in the market by developing value-added service.

Ole Weiner, CEO of AxFlow Holding said: “RDC is a solid, well-respected provider of fluid handling service for the food, pharma, chemicals, petrochemicals and cosmetics – all important business segments for AxFlow,” adding: “They have a long history, with a strong market position in the food and beverage industry, where AxFlow is also strong. This is a strategically important addition to our business and one that fits very well into the overall growth ambitions of AxFlow in Europe.”
