Heading to Holland? Aquatech Amsterdam 2017 attracting record number of exhibitors

From 31 October to 3 November 2017, Aquatech, Amsterdam will take place in the city’s RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre. The ‘world’s oldest and largest’ trade show on water technology, the event attracts companies from around the globe, including a host of major pump and valve manufacturers.

In a sign of just how popular the show has become since its first edition in 1964, Aquatech Amsterdam announced that it was already a complete sell-out for 2017 back in May, meaning a waiting list had to be set up. With over 900 exhibitors, this year is set to be a record breaking one for the event.

70% of visitors to Aquatech are from outside of the Netherlands. The majority are from elsewhere in Europe, but there is also substantial interest from Asia, the Middle East and the USA.

New for 2017

Continuing a long established tradition, Aquatech Amsterdam 2017 will include a host of events dedicated towards exploring the latest developments in water, exploring themes including innovation, industrial water, pumps and process, smart water networks and desalination. As well as major companies connected to the water sector exhibiting their latest technologies, Aquatech will host a range of seminars involving leading water experts.

“Next to the familiar country pavilions, Industrial User Experience, Pumps & Process Plaza, we have newly added the Desalination Pavilion and Smart Water Networks Pavilion,” says Marieke Leenhouts, Exhibition Director for Aquatech Amsterdam.

“There will also be Circular Economy Lounge and the InnovationLAB will have an “Experiences-area” with prototypes and demos and connect to the new Innovation Avenue. Underlining the importance of innovations crucial to the future of the water market.”
