Sundyne launches new improved gearbox output seal for EMEA region

Centrifugal pump manufacturer Sundyne has launched its new improved gearbox output seal, the SundSeal, for customers throughout Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Developed through extensive research and development, as well as rigorous testing at Sundyne’s Arvada facility, SundSeal improves seal reliability and pump and compressor seal maintenance interval.

Specifically designed for use with Sundyne integrally geared pumps and compressors, the seal minimises leakage and increases mean-time between repair (MTBR).

With its reverse pressure capability, SundSeal offers an improvement over existing face lift-off seals.

It creates a barrier between the process seals and the gearbox interior that can withstand pressures up to 275 psi, thereby providing equipment protection by keeping process fluid out of the gearbox.
