Verder launches new AODD pump for high pressure applications

Verder has introduced the new VA25-HP (DA) high pressure air-operated double diaphragm pump for compressed air pressure and filter press applications.

The new AODD pump is capable of boosting up pressure up to two times the used compressed air pressure and stalling against closed discharge, with no safety pressure valve required.

The VA25-HP (DA) has no need for ancillary equipment to regulate flow at raising discharge pressures.

The pump is also double acting, providing stable and efficient flow, and includes a low to high pressure switch for further increased efficiency.

Verder’s already existing range of high pressure diaphragm pumps are of a single acting pump type, which can deliver fluid pressures up to two times the supplied compressed air pressure.

This results in a pulsating flow, a high compressed air consumption, and a reduction of the flow rate by 50%. 

In addition the VA25-HP (DA) features a switch to change the pump operation from low pressure to high pressure.

The low pressure setting is the pump’s normal operating mode, delivering a lower pressure with optimum use of compressed air.

At high pressure mode the pump will boost the liquid pressure up to two times the compressed air pressure with a doubled flow rate when compared to a single-acting high pressure pump.
