Iwaki America introduces new range of AODD pumps

Iwaki America, part of the Japanese pump manufacturer Iwaki, has introduced the Iwaki Air portfolio of air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps.

The Massachusetts-based company will now begin to offer the Iwaki Air AODD pump products to the North, Central, and South America regions.

The new AODD pumps have been designed for applications including sumping, filling, transferring, batching, and dispensing within the chemical, mining, ceramics, paints and coatings, industrial wastewater treatment, printing, pulp and paper, and marine industries.

Iwaki Air AODD pumps will be available in multiple corrosion resistant materials to solve a wide range of application demands available in sizes from ¼” to 3” (to be released in late 2015).

Incorporated in the design of these pumps is the patent pending Iwaki-exclusive Looped-C air motor spool valve, which improves on/off switching reliability, operational efficiency, and air valve component life.
