AS-Schneider develops VariAS-Block with swiveling adapter

AS-Schneider, an industrial valve specialist, has developed a customised manifold for the crude oil industry based on its VariAS range.

The VariAS-Block is equipped with a swivelling adapter, which enables the position of the whole pressure hook-up to be flexibly varied, making the valves and pressure gauge easily accessible.

The measuring instrument is mounted directly on the VariAS-Block.

The primary isolation is carried out by a ball valve, and a separate test port with a fitted test point is integrated into the VariAS-Block.

The test port is shut off by means of a needle valve, and a small vent valve is fitted for bleeding.

The VariAS-Block was developed to replace several individual valves at a crude oil installation with a single block & bleed valve.
