Sykes unveils new vacuum Bentonite pump range

Sykes Pumps has unveiled a new range of specialist Bentonite pumps.

The pumps have been developed around Sykes’ GP150M model, both in terms of specification and performance.

Available in two versions – B150 (diesel engine) and B150E (electric motor) – the Bentonite pump has been designed for projects where deep piling or excavation work is being carried out.

Both models deploy a 60cfm rotary vane vacuum which ensures automatic delivery of prime and re-prime whenever required.

These new units provide users with a large pump performance with lower fuel costs than normally associated with equipment of this kind.

Well-suited for arduous applications due to their flexibility and composition, the new pumps are made up of intended to safeguard reliability and cost-efficient servicing.

The new pumps include features such as:

-          Automatic/manual control panel

-          Priming shut off valve enabling safe functionality on flooded suction

-          Oil bath mechanical seal delivering high abrasion resistance

-          Flushing and drain valves simplifying cleaning and emptying procedures

-          38m maximum head

-          90l/s maximum flow rate

-          52mm maximum solids

-          Skid base chassis complete with fork-lift slots for lifting and manoeuvrability
