Programmable pressure and temperature transmitters from STS Sensors

Automated Control, a specialist in the nationwide supply of process and automation control equipment from a range of companies, has introduced new programmable pressure and temperature transmitters from STS Sensors.

The PTM/RS485 features dual outputs for RS485 and 4-20mA (pressure and/or temperature) and provide monitoring for many applications including OEM, industrial control, and automotive.

The transmitter is available in a 1-15,000 psi range and various output signals. Made of stainless steel or titanium, the STS pressure and temperature transmitters offer rugged reliability in harsh industrial or field applications.

Key features of PTM/RS485 programmable pressure and temperature transmitters include: Pressure measuring range: 100 mbar-1000 bar; turndown ratio 4:1; total accuracy: ≤ ± 0.15% FS; temperature measuring range: -25-85°C; compensated temperature option up to: -40 to 85°C; 2 output signals (P & T): 4-20mA; interface: RS485 (Modbus RTU); recalibration with software possible; full scale ranges from 1 to 15,000 psi; absolute or sealed gauge.
