Stuvex unveils latest valve

Explosion protection service company Stuvex has released details of its recent product launch, a specialist isolation valve.

The Norex is an explosion isolation valve which is ATEX certified as an explosion isolation device according to the directive 94/9/CE. When fitted to a horizontal pipe within a predetermined distance of the containment system to be protected – usually a filter - it is able to operate independently.

Stuvex says the valve is designed for easy installation and has a low pressure drop. It complies with the EN15089 Explosion Isolation Systems standard and there are models in the range that can be fitted to pipework from 160mm to 1,000mm diameter.
