Ahead of WEFTEC 2017 (30 September – 4 October at McCormick Place in Chicago), Fluid Handling International presents an introduction to Echologics, who’ll be exhibiting at Booth #1131

Who is Echologics?

Echologics develops advanced acoustic technologies, products and services that enable non-invasive diagnostics of water utility pipeline infrastructure, including leak detection, pipe condition assessment and water loss management.

The company was founded in Canada in 2003, and acquired by Mueller Water Products in 2011. The company now has more than 100 employees globally, spread across eight international offices. Sharing a stand with its parent company Mueller, Echologics will be showcasing its latest leak detection technology at WEFTEC 2017.

The company has recently released a cellular version of the EchoShore-DX fixed leak detection node. The new product is designed to allow utilities to quickly deploy nodes using their existing cellular communications provider. According to Echologics, this enhancement to the xed leak detection node increases the areas and applications where the technology can be applied, from targeted deployments in zones with high leakage or recurring water main breaks to city-wide implementation.

EchoShore-DX nodes provide utilities with daily reporting on the development of any leaks in the system, allowing leak repairs to be prioritised.

On 30 September the water industry will head to Chicago, Illinois’ McCormick Place for WEFTEC 2017.

The US’ Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) has grown into a world leading event for developments in water quality, research, solutions, knowledge development and cutting edge technologies. With thousands of water and wastewater professionals attending from around the world, WEFTEC 2017 will host a programme of technical sessions and workshops alongside an exhibition of some of the biggest companies involved in water and wastewater.

In the run up to the event, Fluid Handling International will be profiling some of the major exhibitors, and the products they’ll be showcasing.
