Hantemp Controls appoints new engineering manager

Hantemp Controls, a Westmont, Illinois based manufacturer of stainless steel controlled ball valves, float switches, solenoid valves, pressure regulators and flange unions for industrial refrigeration systems, has announced the appointment of a new engineering manager.

Mechanical engineer Jeff Mackowiack joins Hantemp with 25 years of experience in industrial refrigeration manufacturing. A graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology’s mechanical engineering program, Mackowiack brings skills in areas relating to product development and management to the company’s team of engineers.

Talking about his new role, Mackowiack said in a statement from Hantemp: “It’s an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that is continuously innovating in the field of industrial refrigeration. I look forward to the challenges and triumphs ahead.”

Hantemp’s products are designed for use with ammonia, carbon dioxide and most other approved refrigerants and heat transfer fluids. Construction materials in their products are almost entirely stainless steel.
