Armstrong introduces new wet-rotor circulator

Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced its new Compass H high efficiency wet rotor circulators, featuring advanced Design Envelope variable speed technology.

“The Compass H features a Quadratic Sensorless flow control algorithm that intelligently responds to system demand to consistently provide only the necessary flow,” said Andy Januszewski, Armstrong Marketing Manager. “This feature can help the homeowner save up to 70% in energy compared to traditional circulators.”

“Our new COMPASS H circulators offer simplified circulator selection, lowest installed cost, expanded application flexibility and optimised energy efficiency,” Januszewski continued.

Compass H boasts a host of key features, including a broad operating range of up to 20ft (6 metres) of head and up to 20USgpm flow; demand technology providing sensorless demand based control; and nine different modes of operation.

The new circulators accept 0-10V DC external control, and are able to communicate with most modern boilers for improved boiler efficiency. Nine different modes of operation are available, including auto, and the performance range covers a wide array of fixed speed circulators. The new Compass H circulators comply EEI<0.22 regulations, and boast a large wiring chamber and front-mounted terminal block.
