IBC takes in MP Pumps as preferred supplier

The US buying and marketing group for industrial equipment Industrial Buyers Consortium (IBC) has added MP Pumps of Fraser, Michigan, as a preferred supplier of centrifugal pumps in the industrial, agriculture, marine, and petroleum markets.

MP pumps can be found in manufacturing and process plants offering a wide range of pumping solutions for distribution.

For almost 75 years, MP Pumps has been manufacturing high quality centrifugal pumps, their brands including the Flomax self-priming pumps available in 316 stainless steel, bronze, cast iron, and aluminium, Chemflo stainless steel end suction pumps, Petrolmaxx petroleum pumps for fuel transfer, and Tempuflo hot oil/hot water pumps.

MP also makes smaller stainless steel CFX and FMX fractional units along with standard centrifugal and 2CT trash pumps.

"MP Pumps is proud to join forces with IBC and its distribution partners. The IBC platform is bold new territory for MP Pumps to grow business in the industrial segment," said Ed Laabs, global VP of sales and marketing and current Industrial Supply Association (ISA) board member.

Rich Poole, VP of IBC’s industrial division, said the addition of MP Pumps to the network of IBC preferred suppliers gives distributors the opportunity to expand their presences by providing cost-reducing, productivity-improving solutions to the end user.

"Adding MP Pumps’ line of centrifugal pumps equips our distributors with fluid solutions for the frequent challenge of keeping plant operations and MRO at maximum efficiency," Poole said.
